This introduction will give a first assessment on the major issues and controversies raised by this new search scene for our Society. In order to get out of the traditional debates between human empowerment and human impoverishment theories, it is both the autonomy of the individuals and the vitality of the democracy, in their co-constructive relations, which will frame this first assessment.
