Every form that the occupation has taken since 1967 has been presented as an attempt to end the occupation. Its geography has thus constantly been shaped by attempts to end it or to give shape – territorially, economically, and politically - to its never ending end. The complementary concept to this temporariness is elasticity. The form of government afflicted on the Palestinians is exercised by its constant and seemingly chaotic territorial transformations. Where does this realization leave those opposing Israeli colonialism?
