Wallbank finished his M.A. in Art & Design at the Sheffield Hallam University (UK) in 1992 and is an artist and free technology activist. He is the founder of the Redundant Technology Initiative for which he presently works as coordinator. Wallbank has lectured at many institutions including DeMontfort University (1997), University of Derby (1997), Sunderland University (1996), John Leggot College (1995), Norton College (1994) and Chesterfield College of Technology & The Arts (1993).
