Alice Dvorská studied chemistry at the Masaryk University in Brno. 1997 she joined the 2nd Zapatista Encuentro in Spain, and 1998 she co-founded People´s Global Action (PGA), a grassroot network using the Internet to provide communication between different people´s movements all over the world. PGA organized the Global Street Party in May 1998. Alice Dvorská works as activist on different aspects of "globalization" and is press agent of INPEG - Initiative Against Economic Globalization.
