Born in 1954 Broeckers is a journalist that since 1980 contributes to daily papers and weekly as well as monthly magazines and particularly focuses on culture, science and politics. Also, he worked on radio programs, books, TV film scripts, anthologies and cabaret programs; he has also experience as publisher and corrector. Since 1996 he is contributor and consultant for Hanf! magazine and member of the specialized book jury of the "Süddeutschen Zeitung" newspaper.
