Taco Stolk (1967) is a conceptual researcher, living in Amsterdam. Since 1993 he is formulating WLFR, which can be described as the abstraction of an artist. This experiment discusses artistic methods and principles on fundamental levels. WLFR research explores a variety of media and distribution channels. It appears in visual, aural, textual and other forms.

Stolk is head of the ExtraFaculty of the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. He teaches MetaMedia at this academy and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Faculty of Creative and Performing Arts of the Leiden University, and the Frank Mohr Institute in Groningen.
