The follow-up of Waag Society’s Killer Club (application is people) “Wireless in Seattle – Wireless in Amsterdam?

Waag Society opened up her Wireless Network for public use in the summer of 2002. Laptop users with a wireless card (wiFi,Wlan of Apple Airport) are able to use Waag Society’s network in and around the building. Waag Society is hereby creating a test-environment for wireless broadband use. For the World-Information.org exhibition a wireless connection is made to the Old Church. In the last weekend of the exhibition the wireless connection will be the theme of several presentations and workshops at WIO Works.
