  BRUSSELS2000
World-Information Exhibition

Centre Brussels 2000
30 June to 30 July, 2000

Through installations and artistic works, the World-Information Exhibition demonstrated today's world of information as well as its possibilities and effects on all aspects of life: the private environment, the workplace, politics, the economy, education, science and art.

  World-Infostructure

World-Infostructure focused on the development of new media and technologies and their interaction with society, economy, culture, art and politics. It visualized and described the evolvement of communication and information systems and their effect on different spheres of life.

  World-C4U

Command, control, computer and communication (C4) were the keywords for the C4U that displayed historic and state-of-the-art control and surveillance technologies and allowed visitors to discover the use of biometric devices.

  Future Heritage

Future Heritage displayed the cultural heritage of tomorrow. It introduced the works of pioneering artists such as RTMark and Critical Art Ensemble that experiment in the field of information technologies and electronic networks.
